    Best dream ever last night. I was directing a school play, and there was a part that seemed like it was going to be beyond the scope of high schoolers to perform. Fortunately, Benedict Cumberbatch was filming in the area and agreed to be in our play. What cracked me up is that my husband was helping out with stuff and totally fell in love with Ben too (it's inevitable, accept it).

    We're supposed to get around 1–2 inches of rain between this evening and tomorrow, on top of a temperature of up to 6 C (43 F). Considering there is still a shitload of snow accumulation out there, it'll be interesting to see what kind of mess this makes.

    The Detroit area was supposed to be @45 and rainy today, We got an inch or so of snow, followed by sleet, and now rain. It's an effin' mess. Hope it goes easier on you.

    We're in the same boat. 70 inches of snow this winter with very little melting in between. 2-3 days of warm weather followed by lots of rain. Already some flooding, looks to get worse tonight. They are also saying 30mph winds tonight, with gusts up to 60mph.

    Our storm drain out front is currently clogged with snow and ice. I hope it clears up before the deluge. We have maintenance guys who take care of the place. I'm sure they'll be on top of it. (Okay, maybe.)

    I read somewhere some states are running out of places to put all of the snow.

    Maybe ship it West, or over seas? Filter that stuff and sell it to the desert people.

    Arrived in the classroom to sub today. One of my students from the fall came in and spotted me. "Ms. Snowy!" he said. "It's good to see you!" Color me shocked--I failed him. He then promptly turns around and yells out to the freshman hallway, "HEY! YOU GUYS! MS. SNOWY IS HERE TODAY!" It made me laugh so hard.
