Y'all make chili without beans? Weirdos. I found a recipe for skyline chili, though. I think I'm going to try it.

I prefer chili w/out beans, but we do make a mean chili based on Wendy's Chili with dark & light red beans.

Good old simple pasta meal, starting with a spring mix salad with Blue Cheese dressing.
A large helping or two of Rotini with garlic laden sauce with a few more spices.
And a nice big glass of cold milk.

Finishing with a bit of chocolate. :)

Last nights dinner was quick & easy--Venison Cajun sausage links, baked potatoes with all the good (unhealthy) toppings, and green beans.

Gold Star is better ;) I don't think you'd notice a difference if it was homemade, though. Fair warning: it's sort of a love-or-hate thing, with no middle ground.

Also: Four way is chili, cheese, and onions; five way is chili, cheese, onions, and beans. Although you could sub out the onions for the beans in a four way, like hamster did. And don't forget the hot sauce! :)

Edited to add: Cincinnati chili is more like a chili sauce. We make "traditional" chili, too, but that doesn't go on hot dogs or spaghetti.

If you guys start talking about putting beans in chili to certain Texans I know they'll assure you that you are making soup, not chili. Putting beans in chili in Texas can lead to a fight! :p

Two gooey fried eggs, a homemade turkey breakfast sausage patty, sauteed poblano and onion, topped with a daub of Organicville sriracha.
This is what happens when you don't plan ahead and you don't really want to eat anyway.

Yeah, I can't lay claim to authentic Cincinnati chili. I just used regular chili that I'd made on Sunday. It was still good, though. :)

That was me, lol. It was not bad. I keep eggs from the farmer's market in the fridge and sausage in the freezer at all times for nights like that.

After the last three days, whatever I end up having for dinner, I guarantee that I won't be cooking it!

Last night we had butter beans, soaked a full day, seasoned with ham, onions, & cummin. And homemade cornbread.

Tonight will be beef roast with potatoes & carrots. It's in the crock pot slow cooking.
