@snowy ?? the hell? are you nuts?? I drove back from taking my mom to Tim Horton's this afternoon IN A FRICKIN BLIZZARD. It was fine (like the pic above) when headed out to Whitby, but an hour later I could barely see as the wind blew huge snow flakes in off of the lake. Scary driving... Naa... I think I like Lish's environs better myself

This was taken two weeks ago when the whole province was without power and it was pretty much colder than i've ever felt before in NL (it usually doesn't get very cold here in the winter).

 

Pull in here for food, fuel and the occasional flying saucers...

 

I just had to look up where that place is (Wycliffe Well). Especially in contrast with the snow storm in Newfoundland. Well I found it.... does it get any more remote? Who goes there? Mad Max? Maybe there's places in Namibia that are more dusty and empty, but wow:
