In high school I was voted "Most Likely to Start a War." I wonder how that factors into my Zodiac sign (which, incidentally, isn't Aries).

I took a pill that's legally and legitimately prescribed to me, I ground it up, and I snorted it through a kazoo..

Figured out another aspect to my grand theory...thinking about how gravity affects Inertia.

Is it something like: "An object affected by the gravity of the couch tends to stay at rest, no matter how many outside forces try to get it up to do paperwork?"

Well, unless you're revolving around the couch due to it's mass...No. (which would be an interesting sight...)

Beside, that's because your mass at rest won't change unless you exert energy against the gravity and friction of the couch.
Paperwork tends to be against exertion execution...That's Work. :p

About 6-7 years ago I had a bad case of MRSA. Overnight I went from not even having a pimple or visible ingrown hair on my face to it looking like someone took a blow torch to my face from my jaw to my hairline just in front of my right ear. Anyway, after a 3-4 day stay in the hospital I was released to go home, but I had a PICC line inserted in my forearm and ran up an artery to just above my heart. This was so I could be given an IV bag of Vancomycin every day for three weeks to help get rid of the MRSA. I was also proscribed Vicodin for the pain. The nurses who inserted the PICC line just before I left the hospital gave me a very stern lecture about not grinding up the Vicodin and putting it in the PICC line. Apparently that is a great way to have the narcotic effect slam you all at once and get you high. It is supposedly also a great way to stop your heart.

There is your fun fact for the day. :p

I really, really, really don't want to be here today. Still, trying to be productive.

I'm listening to my downstairs neighbours' furnace hum away while mine sits silently as it has done so for at least a few days now.

I'm pretty sure my neighbours are collectively paying for our heating costs these days. We've turned the thermostat down to 15 C (59 F), and it still barely gets below 20 C (68 F). We've resorted to opening windows when it gets too hot from using the oven.

I hear ya. Since moving to the new apartment I haven't had to turn on the heater at all. When it was 20F outside, it was 75F inside. It got so hot I opened the windows. After a couple of hours the temp was finally down to 70F inside. How danged hot do the neighbors have their thermostats set, anyway?

    What a great day.

  17. I am a vegetarian and have been for 12 years...ok maybe that's a lie. I suppose I turned Pescatarian recently. Regardless, I don't eat anything found on the land or flying in the heavens above.

Still, my favorite restaurant out here in Oregon is a BBQ place. Lots of dead things slathered in bbq sauce. That's fine. DaddySquirrel is a fan of all that. I just like the endless cornbread and sweet tea.

I am picking up two friends tonight and we're going to meet DaddySquirrel at the restaurant for dinner. (He works in the town it's located.) My friend has been bugging me to go back there with him and his lady since our last excursion there on my birthday. It'll be a double date night with cornbread. I can't waaaaaaaait!

Yay, I was productive today. (that's "personal" productive amongst the work productivity...which always gets done and then some)
2 items done. cash drain pending.

8 more items on the to do list this week...
1 item to redo (again) after action taken correcting item that didn't need correcting which left out another item...which now needs correcting.
1 item based on above item...but can't execute until that item corrected. (includes an item not received despite repeated inquiries)
1 item inquiring on pending action not confirmed (again), 1 item due to notifications of obsolete rules,
2 items inquiring on pending notifications not received , 1 item due to action not notified of...or action taken but ignored,
And 1 more item substituting for another previous, now obsolete due to received notification...rather than inquiry on pending notification.
cash drains pending on all above

    Confused? Yep, me too.
Does anyone do anything right and as expected anymore??
    It's like friggin' wack-a-mole.

Oh yeah, some crossed fingers and toes goes out to my niece, who needs to deal with college bureaucracy after a life threatening illness.
You'd think that would get you a bye...but not to a bureaucrat.

To top off my already great day, the Blazers game is on regular television, my husband made dinner, and we got to relax together.
