    Glad to hear Ontario is no longer #1 on the 'love to hate' list.
    Personally, once it gets to a point where the cold can kill you, I don't discern much of a difference. Frostbite is frostbite. I lived through Toronto winters, Connecticut winters and now, Chicago. They all suck. Freaking cold.

    When I don't have work, I don't spend hours a day being socially stimulated by being in a room with 30 other people at all times, so it makes it difficult to go out and do the things I have to get done.

    In sum:
    Working = constant socialization and very little social anxiety
    Not working = some socialization, less leaving the house, and more social anxiety

    And yes, extroverts can have social anxiety.

    It's 12 below here with 2' of snow, 30 mph winds making for nice drifts, and a goat path of a road to get us down the mountain for the remainder of the winter.

    Now to figure out why the hell I managed to get to work; but my $%^& coworkers that live 2-3 miles away couldn't make it. Fuckers.

    Well, on the upside, I figured out how to get paid while doing it. I'm responsible for writing a child abuse curriculum for my job, so I'm using this training (on child abuse) to write that up while I do it.
