There is snow. Happy snow! I love snow. Pretty pretty pretty outside my window right now, and the dog is over the freaking moon and very difficult to get inside once let out into it. hahaha.

 

Spoken like someone who doesn't have to clear a driveway or sidewalk.

Meanwhile, my new cordless electric snowblower arrived today! @15 minutes to assemble, an hour to charge the battery, and @15-20 minutes to clear 4-6 inches of snow from a 3 car wide driveway and a couple hundred feet of sidewalk. Very happy with the investment. I would have been shoveling for a couple of hours, otherwise.

 

Did he know about your doctor's visit? Good guy neighbor!

QW and I try to look out for the disabled veteran next door. It only takes a few minutes to clear his walk, and we know he appreciates it.

My dad's (age 83) neighbours clear his driveway before he's even realized it's snowed. I'm so grateful for people like you and them.

 

Actually, no, that would be spoken like a former winter lover that LIKED to shovel snow and salt sidewalks for FUN all winter long, would do my own drive and all the neighbors drives and walks as well, then head out back to do the patio and a place for the dog to do his business.
The same winter lover that now spends part of their time in a wheelchair and the rest using a walker, who now "enjoys" the snow from behind a plate of glass, and rarely leaves the house in GOOD weather, let alone inclement.

Thank you so terribly much for the assumption that I don't HAVE TO clear a walk or drive. Certainly isn't for lack of wanting to be able to, I assure you.

Ours is usually a surprise when it goes from one extreme to another. I happened to catch the 7 day forecast and we're supposed to have a low of 16F Tuesday morning. Most of the resy=t of the days/nights above freezing.
