Pointless Announcements

*It's finally friday, free again* Woo hoo.
the last 480 minutes of this work week will fly by like they were only eight hours (to borrow from a MST3K DVD jacket)

 

Now for a couple of mugs of tea. And .... AND .... a chocolate chou pastry filled with cream. Just remembered I had it.

 

Can it please, please, super pretty extra sugar please be cooler yet? I'm totally over summer. I don't to sweat anymore

 

Will be updating my resume and maybe writing a cover letter if I know how to write one.

 

should be done the stalls today,then i'll redo all the walk ways in the backyard

Managed to make it through the b-day party without a headache, or killing a kid. Will try again next weekend.

 

Survived a party all yesterday afternoon. Introvert wants quiet again.

 

Beautiful day outside. And I've spent it inside, still in pyjamas (6PM). If it will rain tomorrow, I'll defy the weather and stay out all day...

 

My three year old says more with pointing than most people do with actual words. If only she would go to two syllable words at some point.

 

My cousin didn't have many words until he was three, we all thought he might not be really smart. Turned out there was nothing wrong with him, he was quite precocious growing up, soon to graduate in jurisprudence (I hope that's a correct term).

 

My two youngest girls enjoyed a breakfast of icing with a side nibble or two of cinnamon roll.

she had a rough pregnancy to put it gently and survived two surgeries and the associated strong painkillers my wife had to go through before she was even four months along. She earned the name 'Tuff" long before she was born. Hearing your unborn daughter has a 25% of surviving a needed surgery (normally routine if there is no fetus to watch for) is not good.

 

That is tough. Are you saying she will have problems in learning?

 

Now, that my daughter has entered preschool, they are firstly screening those, who have problems with speech and pronouncing all letters, at age of six.

Pronounce/vocalize/enunciate?

 

as snowy said, who can tell? All we have so far is a diagnosis of "Global Developmental Delay" and she trip all kinds of alerts which give her extra attention with health coverage/ all kinds of therapy.
She is smart as a whip though, just mostly non-verbal.

 

It's hard to look like a badass eating salad.

 

@ Speed Gibson: Yes, I know, it's too early to tell. I think it's good as long as she feels being understood. My friend's son had some difficulties around 4-5, he became aggressive, because he couldn't get through to others, what he wanted to say. They found out, he had slight disability in learning, but he got help through early therapy, which is good.

 

Thanks to the roommate, I can watch the Bengals!!!! Too hot to wear my snuggie or Who-Dey boots, but I am wearing my baby-daddy jersey. #55
