    Interestingly enough, I never wear them under normal clothes. I have some killer UA 3.0 Cold Gear that is so freaking warm it is unreal. That's what I wear when hunting or if I have to be outside in serious cold for long stretches. The Union Suits are straight up pajamas. :D

    I'm a fan of Patagonia Capilene. Patagonia Capilene Performance Baselayers - Recycled and Recyclable Baselayers, Common Threads Recycling Program Spendy, but worth it. In the PacNW, chances are you're going to get wet; wearing cotton is a big no-no.

    It is. My only complaint is that it snags on my wedding ring, but lots of things snag on my wedding ring, and I'm more careful now:p

    As an owner of a Forever Lazy Suit, I am a fan of butt flaps. The footie part of the PJ never appealed to me. Too binding. It did come with some slipper socks, so that was cool.

    I may or may not have worn the FLS to a bar.

    Go with the dinosaurs. ALWAYS go with dinosaurs. You can count them if you need more math in your life.

    I really need these. I have serious problems with bare skin when I sleep--if I feel cold air on my lower back or on my shoulders at ALL, I wake up. :( I can't sleep naked unless the ambient temperature is above 75.

    That said, I just say no to footie pyjamas. Where I am now, it's too damn hot for that kind of nonsense. The less worn, the better.

    Even in Canada, where it was might chilly at night with the thermostat turned down, I would rather pile on more blankets.

    I don't want them for wearing to bed. I want them for wearing around the house when it's cold.

    I prefer to strip down to boxers or my birthday suit before hitting the sack. Apparently, and I believe it's the case based on my own observations, we better regulate our body temperature if we don't have too much going on in terms of covering ourselves in our sleep.

    Given that I'm consistently a solid sleeper, I think this might be a part of it.

    That's me as well. I like a cool bedroom, summer or winter. And I can't do PJs, never wear them. I just wear a long nightshirt, nothing else. No butt flap needed.;)
