My "stepdad" was supposed to have a PET scan Fri, but his insurance wouldn't cover it, so he's getting a CT scan today. We're hoping it is not cancer again.

I'm formatting an infant baptism liturgy for work, and sitting here reading these words reminds me, strongly, just how much I don't miss religion in my life.

 

We have a half inch of snow on the ground at my house.

 

I just offered to pay one of my friends for some technical work with cash, booze or ammunition.

I'm watching the first Pine Grosbeak of the winter season eating at my favorite bird feeder cam in Ontario, and a Sharp-shinned hawk just flew over my building.
