    Was getting ready to go to work this morning, discovered my rear left tire was flat. Again.
    So I biked the mile-and-change to work. Was cold. Was not pleasant. Was not excruciating, (was kind of enjoyable in a way), but was not pleasant.
    SERIOUSLY need to make an appointment with The Tire Shop to get that fixed.

    In other news, I'm hungry but nothing I have in my house sounds good. Poo.

    I came home from lunch to continue watching the rest of the Season 7.2 Doctor Who episodes I started this morning, only to find that while we were gone Hulu Plus has pulled them from availability. We were only gone an hour!!

    I have it for both PC and PS3. But my guitar broke not long after getting the jack wiring repaired. I had it fully readjusted, restrung, etc., too. It was good to go for a second life, but then the damn wire popped on it.

    I should just buy a soldering kit and fix it myself. I'd have to go well out of my way just to get it repaired. The shop literally just down the street from me stopped doing repairs recently.

    Corgan has always been a little cray cray on the side of egomaniacal.

    If you ask me, Mellon Collie was the last true Pumpkins album. Everything beyond that was Corgan's self-indulgent spinning off into what he perhaps thought was a natural progression for the band. You know, maybe he tried to do what bands like Radiohead did, which is alter their sound by introducing more electronic elements.

    I was wary when Corgan teamed up with Flood. I was a grunge/alternative/prog/metal kid and was absolutely obsessed with the Pumpkins sound coming out of Gish and Siamese Dream. I found Mellon Collie fascinating, but I still considered SD their best work (and it's definitely one of my top 10 favourite albums of any genre). Adore was okay. I grew on the new sound, but after that I got bored and stuck with the previous albums and their B-sides.

    So, no...Billy Corgan today is Billy Corgan trying to be the Smashing Pumpkins. He was mostly the Smashing Pumpkins with the original lineup, but the other members had their distinctive talents and presence.

    It's not exactly working anymore.

    Car didn't want to start this morning. After a jump, it started. I hope I just need a new battery and not a new alternator. I'm busy until 9pm tonight and that's when the auto stores close and thus not able to have my battery checked.

    Grrrr...cars are way too much trouble.
