to groom or not to groom

just trying to decide if i should "trim it up" down there or just let it go? suggestions??

In case anyone finds it useful, I generally try to keep things trim (scissors trim... no blades!) because if reduces chafing when I'm riding my bike. Especially during sweatier times of year.

 

To be honest, I haven't usually noticed if a guy trims or not... unless, uh, my face is down there. In those cases, yes, trimming is preferred

 

I like to trim because getting a hair caught and pulled is not fun. Trimming keeps everything nice down there.

 

groom. not only is it more refreshing in the hot months, but having the rectangular danger zone defined feels - too me at least - like a fuckin sweet haircut

 

Groom. Pubic hair helps maintain stink, which isn't always attractive when going down on someone. Also, grooming decreases risk of a girl getting pubic hair caught in her teeth. As a representative of the female population, I will inform you that getting pubic hair stuck in one's teeth during a good head session is kinda a mood kill.

I like when a man trims down there. It shows that he cares.

 

For the same reason, I prefer women to groom as well.

 

I think it is better to trim down there. In case she does oral on you, if you don't trim, some of the pubic hairs may get into her mouth.

Maybe it's because you're no longer sampling the crotches of North America, but I dare you find a woman under 30 that has more than a patch.

Every single woman I've been with has heavily manicured their junk. It got the point where I was starting to think they didn't grow hair down there.

Pfft, I don't buy the "pubic hair maintains stink" argument, especially considered the borderline excessive personal hygiene habits of those in the West.

The only real issues are personal comfort (such as sweaty crotch sweater when biking, as mentioned) or interference with various sexual activities.

I'm pretty hairless hombre and I've never had anybody complain, but I will take the clippers to the old waist level unibrow now and then.

Nobody likes a mouthful of hair but I'm incredibly bored of the "shaved snack." I suggested to my woman she grow a little play tuft.

 

My personal opinion on "grooming" is well established. If by grooming, we are referring to shaving completely. gross. no thank you. I would seriously get out of bed and leave if a guy I was with turned out to be shaved.

And I agree about the "stink." If you maintain regular hygiene then stink is not a problem. The smell of a man is just fine with me.

 

Pubic hair does not promote stink... it holds the wonderful aroma of the genitals. Regular cleaning does away with any bad odour unless there is some sort of problem/infection. Grooming is fine, it does tend to cut down on the number of hairs you get in your mouth, but shaving has been given some very unrealistic hype. Hairs and oral sex are just part of the activity.

Pubic hair actually reduces the friction, and chaffing, much the same as armpit hair does (pinching of hairs is a different issue all together, and grooming does help that). Given the amount of skin on skin rubbing that takes place with sex, SOME hair is good idea.

 

ok here we go. i know this is gonna be tmi, but as far as getting hair caught in my wifes mouth, she dosent do that. i have just grown accustomed to accept it. i will her, its kinda like a 68. lol

im a hairy bastard anyway so seems to me if i cut the grass then all the other grass stays the same? make since? and im not one to shave it all.

 

In that case, shave your entire body! Why not, go for that professional swimmer look.
