Do you get angry while you're driving?

My ex tailgates, drove/drives me nutz. I haven't ridden with her in years. Last time was 2008, she picked me up at SFO in my kids Mazda turbo something or rather. We're flying across the Golden Gate bridge doing 70+ and I can't see the license plate of the car in front of us because she's less then 5 feet from the bumper. Fuck me. It's not accidental that was the last time.

 

A good friend of mine was TERRIBLE about tailgating. He was driving us somewhere one day, and I turned to him, pointed to the car in front of us and said, "that person hates you and thinks you are a total douche canoe right now." He eased off, and I don't remember it happening again. I hope it stuck, and he's not driving like that now.

Another thing that I'm not happy with is when my PASSENGERS get road rage. A friend from high school liked to reach over and honk the horn when *I* was driving. I had to threaten to kick her out of the car before she stopped.

My friend was once giving a gentleman a lift back to base, and someone tried to cut her up, honking his horn etc. She stopped at a set of lights, and her companion said 'excuse me for a moment' - poured his over six foot in height out of her sports car, strolled to the other car, tapped on the window, and when it was opened, he told the shocked motorist that he was a bad driver, with bad manners, and should behave better. Guy sat there with his mouth open - shocked by good manners - and gentleman in full officers turn out glided back to the car, got in and appologised to the lady driver for possibly having overstepped the mark, but he said he felt he had to say something.

 

Do you possibly mean "cut her off" rather than "cut her up?" 'Cause cut her up sounds pretty bad.
