It's official. My pregnancy is no longer the easiest pregnancy of all times.

My back hurts like a bitch.

Then again, it used to hurt like this pre-pregnancy, so I might still be having an awesome pregnancy.

People, if you're poor and have animals, the least you can do is not stuff them full of fucking people food so that they don't end up here, in a place like this one, after hours, with your passel of dirty kids, crying because you can't afford to treat your animal's fucking acute pancreatitis. Fuck.

 

I am exhausted. Long day at work. And tomorrow a classmate is picking me up at 7 am so we can drive to Daytona for the Nat'l Student Nurses Association Convention. It will be an all day thing. And I'm exhausted. Actually thinking of cancelling a date I have tomorrow night. Not yet, though...

 

Sleep, why you hate me so much?

 

Waiting for a focus session on responding to code to begin. They're late. Good god, is this day ever gonna end?

 

That's a bit of a sore point with me, as well.

I have acquantances that have a scotty that was hit by a car (because the dumbasses weren't watching), left to suffer for two weeks before amputating a leg (because it wasn't convenient), that now has foot problems (because they can't bear to trim her nails). They have the balls to tell me how lucky I am that Molly is healthy.

She's healthy because I take care of her, dumbasses. That's what you sign up for when you get a dog.

 

My knees are killing me today. Advil hasn't helped in the least. I might need to cut down on walking in the morning for a few days.

 

I have had the biggest headache since 11. Might jump off the building.

 

I have been working on a renewal for 3 months. The account makes compactors and crunches up a person about every year. This year, they played games with us with the markets, and the coverage lapses in about 10 hours. They've known we need information for days and they won't give it to us. They will be without coverage in 10 hours and basically unable to sell their units to anyone who requires product liability coverage - which is effectively everyone who buys these compactors. I've never seen an insurance buyer be so incredibly stupid.

 

Fucking communists.

 

At least they had the decency not to intrude upon your sexy time.

 

I know, right? But apparently they do not carry my preferred hormonal defense product out here and had to substitute another brand.

My dog just got skunked.
He's had a couple near-misses in the last few weeks.
This was the first night I've worn gloves and he ripped the handle of the leash right out of my hand and dove behind an evergreen.
Spouse has him in the laundry tub bathing with baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap, He blames me.
It's a dawg. An adopted, previously abused male who is 25 lbs. of muscle. Sheesh.
