Yep. True for me as well, though I keep trying to peel back what I've added to my personality through the years and remember the kid I was. The unvarnished version of me. I was known as an extreme extrovert then and obviously 'stuff happened' that that is no longer is the case, but she's in there, underneath.
When I read Lindy 's comments here on the board she often says what I'm thinking/feeling but won't share. I consider it brave to be ballsy like that and in that respect, when younger I was much more unfiltered then now. Life has hammered me good a few times and I've learned to self-censor a lot. I'm not at all sure that this is a positive thing. It's not really physical aches and pains hindering me, but psychic.

Possibly. I haven't done this for some time but, if I remember rightly, there is a slight gender-based adjustment made in the scoring around Feeling (women score higher for some reason).

I'm an ENFJ. I agree with it for the most part, but I'm more borderline on a few than this accounts for, I think. Oh well, I share an MBTI with Obama.

Also, since I tend to fluctuate between ENFJ and ENFP (what I got in college), I guess I could marry Levite

Oh, man! If only I were a Mormon, you could be Mrs. Levite's sister-wife any time!

    Back off, she's mine.

I also don't know whether that sentiment jives with my personality type, but for what it's worth, I'm an INFP, with a leaning towards Extroversion in the right, er, circumstances.

  6. is it me or are most people introverts around here? i just find the numbers lopsided.

could this possibly be because of the comfort we find in forum based abodes?

does anyone have %'s based on general population between I's and E's?

A lot of us took this test years ago on the old TFP, and I remember most people scored as I's - even some of the most friendly and outgoing people here. As if this is a comfort zone, as you put it.
I am a solid I to the point of coming off as anti-social around people I don't know. I was also an "F" where most on the board were "T" I would have to retake the test for the others.

I just retook the test and am ISFP.

I'm not surprised I came up the same as Snowy, but I'm interested in how borderline I am on a couple of points:

    ENTJ

    Extravert(44%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(1%) Judging(56%)
    • You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (44%)
    • You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
    • You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
    • You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (56%)

One of my friends had me take this earlier this month
    My result was INTJ
    Introvert(56%) iNtuitive(50%) Thinking(25%) Judging(33%)

A few hours later that night when I was in the other end of my typical mood
    My result then was ISTJ
    Introvert(100%) Sensing(12%) Thinking(38%) Judging(11%)

I haven't looked into it a whole lot yet, but it seems fairly accurate. Even comparatively
between the two results considering my typical range of mood variability.

    I love this shit.
There are actually archetypes that correlate to the original test. It's slightly different, but still fascinating.

    ENTP

Or as the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, developed by David Keirsey,
Keirsey referred to ENTPs as Inventors, one of the four types belonging to the temperament he called the Rationals.
ENTPs account for about 2–5% of the population

Pretty much describes me to a T...and tends to piss many off.
But why? when I'm having so much fun... ;)

    Hells yeah!

Keirsey sez: I/ENFP/J = Idealist. INFP = Healer (ENFP, which I'm close to, is "Champion")

    Famous Healers and Champions include:

    Joan Baez
    William Blake
    Tim Burton
    Albert Camus
    Joseph Campbell
    Bill Clinton
    Kurt Cobain
    Johnny Depp
    Diana, Princess of Wales
    Charles Dickens
    Vincent van Gogh
    Aldous Huxley
    Søren Kierkegaard
    Martin Luther King Jr
    John Lennon
    David Lynch
    Margaret Mead
    A.A. Milne
    John Milton
    Bill Moyers
    George Orwell
    Sylvia Plath
    Arthur Rimbaud
    Paul Robeson
    Jean-Jacques Rousseau
    J.K. Rowling
    Antoine de Saint Exupery
    J.D. Salinger
    William Shakespeare
    Sargent Shriver
    Elizabeth Cady Stanton
    Bill Watterson
    Edith Wharton
    Virginia Woolf

The only thing that's a bit odd is that it says that Healers and Champions are Advocates (activists, writers, inspirers of others and advocates for others) which is pretty true of me, but Mentors-- which include teachers-- are E/INFJs. And I am definitely a teacher, and not an E/INFJ.

Took it again. I'm well rested, in a particularly upbeat mood today.
    ISFJ
    Introvert(33%) Sensing(12%) Feeling(62%) Judging(33%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)
You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)
You have distinctive preference of Feeling over Thinking (62%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

A few days ago, I was in an average mood, just getting over a cold.
    INFJ.
    Introvert (11%) iNtuition (12%) Feeling (50%) Judging (44%)

Interesting, from a subjective standpoint the newest inventory seems not as spot on--but who am to judge me?;)

That's definitely true. I don't know that I've ever met another ENTJ. My dad might be one, but I can't remember. I know that when I first took this test in high school psych, I was the only one in my class of 30, and my teacher was NOT surprised in the least.
