    Dammit: my coworker said it best today: "It's a Monday-Tuesday, the worst kind of day."

    So far I have: been called into work at 7am, had to deal with one boss dropping the ball completely (but at least she took the blame for it), cranky kids who are out of sorts after 4 days off of daycare, a meeting that lasted an hour and a half...I'll stop there.

    At least I get to go to the garden tonight. Yippee skippy.

    Actually, it was very nice ... apart from those prawns [​IMG]

    Do you do Labor Day in Norway? Closest we get to it is 'Late Summer Bank Holiday', which was one or two weeks earlier. Snowy's "Monday-Tuesday, the worst kind of day" is, IMO, a classic - so true.

    My mom was having trouble viewing the pictures I emailed her...she could see the thumbnails, but couldn't get them to load when she opened them. I ended up sending her a photobucket link.

    Funny story, though...she saw the thumbnail of Wil Wheaton & me, and thought that Wil Wheaton was Lordeden.

    I was thinking of curry as "curry" in a big porcelain bowl...

    We do have a Labor Day equivalent in Norway, the first of May. Called May Day, or International Workers' Day. When I grew up my family was so hard to the left they where almost red, so we would participate in the parade and such. Nowadays there's hardly any celebrations going on. There are some parades in the bigger cities, but most of us treat it like just another day off.
