Sitting here having lunch before my final PEDs clinical evaluation and there is dude with a guitar playing the same little folksy strummy melody over and over and over and it's starting to wear on my nerves.

I poisoned my body last night with Bud Light. Lots of Bud Light. Lots and lots of Bud Light. I don't really care for Bud Light. But several pitchers of it was consumed by my brother, a friend and myself.

I just studied at school for six hours...now I'm at another place where I'm gonna study for six more hours!!!!

I went to PEDs lecture, clinical evaluation.....then I got my flu shot, went to the thrift store, thought a lot about disco and now plan to go home, enjoy some wine, make blue cheese burgers and catch up on ink masters.

I prefer my way.

 

Last night I was tasked with shooting photos at an event on breast cancer care. The second physician presenting set her entire PowerPoint presentation in Comic Sans.

There are no words.

I'm all for studying and working when it's called for, but the whole studying thing almost seems like a status-y competition among my classmates on facebook. I have to admit it makes my eyes roll back in my head.

 

I remember the painful watch of the documentary American Teacher. It was eye opening for me. I use to think that in the US all is fair.

Had a 4 day weekend planned, but a crew member is stuck on jury duty for the fourth day. Don't know when he'll be back.
Got offered a ticket to see Dweezel Zappa tonight. Can't go, I will be at a funeral home.
Maybe I'll just crawl into the box with my sister's FIL.

 

I need to graduate and get the fuck out of Houghton. I'm sick of feeling like I'm surrounded by children.

EDIT: A night of sleep did not help matters. Still upset. Looks like today is a "clean the apartment and seethe" day. At least I'll be productive!
