The U.S. national debt increases by, like, $10,000 per second. Hey, that's pretty cool.

    MUAHAHAHA, VENGEANCE IS MINE!!!

I brought groceries home and made my husband deal with rearranging the fridge/freezer to fit them all in.

This reminds me I should clean the fridge/freezer before she returns. She may either get flattered or totally be indifferent (had happened before).

    Time for a nap.

  5. Cool in the sense that you're not an American. Otherwise, not so much.

  6. I have a feeling I can use puppy dog pregger eyes to get DaddySquirrel to give me a massage tonight. Bigger boobs and bigger belly makes for a sore back after a looooong day at work.

Maybe I was going to just say "hello, I hope your day went well".

Somehow I think "offering a massage of your own" does not quite translate to that...

What does a half bag of fiery hot Cheetos say to the dumb-ass?

For the record, the outdoor s-e-k-s did not happen, but we had some pretty fabulous indoor s-e-k-s.
And then a nice conversation about Halloween. He is going to be Travis Bickel. In excruciatingly exacting detail.
I'm really glad he answered my OKCupid ad. Quality folks.

i went to an estate sale. the guy was a brain surgeon whose hobbies included racing yachts and going to africa in order to kill large animals. then he would mount the skulls on his wall. because, well, they're skulls. i found photographs of him standing near various dead things while wearing a banana republic safari outfit and laughing. he had a significant pornstache.

later, i sat in various seaside places. somewhere between them, i walked through a bird sanctuary that was suspiciously like someone's back yard.

a movie runs in my head in which i say other things than i said in the meeting during which the elimination of my position was announced.
in real life, i was dead calm. it made things way more awkward for the idiot functionaries than i expect they imagined it would be. i got to say some acid things in a flat voice. so it's just a movie that runs in my head.

apparently, this all started because i wore a sweater to the wrong meeting.

fact is that i remain quite pleased by this turn of events.
but the movie still runs in my head.
    i expect that'll change.

I'm reading a discussion thread involving one Christian explaining to another how the Biblical record is maintained in spite of evolutionary theory. I'm finding it oddly fascinating. I've heard a lot of it before, but the way he's wording it is actually well done.
