Pointless Announcements

I wish I could go to doggie day care.. they look like they have way to much fun!

 

mental health clinical tonight from 2-10.
first mental health exam tomorrow at 2.
first pediatrics exam wednesday at 8am.
sexual relations both wednesday and friday.
saturday, oktoberfest and the pride parade...both of which I plan to make work somehow. Photoz!

Come on wednesday.

 

When the borders were open, I didn't need a passport. I traveled through Canada and Mexico freely and often. When I was in Uncle Sams' minions, I traveled to unseemly holes in the world, you know the types of places, where we were inserted to do nasty things, then get yanked out and act like we were never there. So, I have traveled to all those beautiful places in the world... yeah.

My woman is from France, so I would like to go there. Right now, she is finding out about the Western us and all of it's national parks, monuments and preserves. We like to backpack so we are doing that a lot also. It's good.

 

I know it must mean something...the fact that reading about neurotransmitters makes me horny.

 

There is at least at least one thing to be happy about today...A dog I pulled from a rural county shelter back at beginning of September had her babies last night! 7 lucky puppies!

 

I had my first graduate level marketing class last night. LOVED IT! I'm going to have a great time this term. I can't wait to take more marketing classes, but I have to take some finance classes first. Bleh.

Of the 50+ students in the class, I am the ONLY one who is pursuing a career in marketing. This class is one that all students pursing a MBA must take.

The Instructor JUST moved here from Canada and I giggled every time she said aboot.

 

A lot of people think that neti pots (and the idea of using one) are gross.

I'm thankful for mine; without it I wouldn't be able to breathe out of my nose.

In other news, I'll be happy when my head stops leaking.

 

Whenever I travel up to visit my mom in Oregon I have to use something like a neti that I bought at Costco. Without it I can't breath and my head pounds.

 

Already...

 

Just *might* have caught the photography bug. Eying 35mm SLR options now. But the $3000+ lens wish list I have had for ages for the DSLR might have been my first clue.

 

Pediatrics exam 1 commences in less than 1 hour. Made a 94 on my first mental health exam yesterday. I'm really good at those 'what is the best response by the nurse' questions that seem to throw a lot of people off. Which says to me that I know instinctually how not to be an asshole and/or say stupid things. I just choose to sometimes.

I've decided to make an impromptu overnight road trip to Tampa tomorrow. This feels good.

 

With a flight scheduled in fewer than 24 hours, it's just now occurred to me to wonder whether TSA screening personnel are considered "essential."
