    EDIT: OMG, my new iMac here here today! It wasn't supposed to come until the 25th! I only ordered it two nights ago.

    Technically I dyed my hair when I was pregnant. In my defense, I didn't know I was preggers. It was when I was in Ohio visiting family in May and maybe 3 weeks pregnant. I also drank quite a bit then. I freaked the fuck out when I found out how far along I was and did the math. I said I drank a lot in the first few weeks that I was pregnant. The midwife said I was fine since it was so early in the pregnancy.

    OK, so I finally registered for the CIBC Run for the Cure for my city. I'm not doing the run part, that's my goal for next year. But I'd like to raise money and bring awareness to young people with cancer. Cause cancer sucks, and we need to destroy it! I'll be doing the walk with pretty much my entire family, immediate and all the relatives. Hence, I called the team "Stephanie's Entourage." I'd like to think that TFP is my extended family, and I know none of you live locally, so if you'd like to donate, here's the link, or just check my post on facebook and repost it your buddies! I just want to spread the word, get the ball rolling!
    This'll be my first step into raising awareness, but definitely not my last. I'd like to eventually get marathon-ready and keep healthy, and all that good stuff!

    There are lots of things that vie for the "best part of today." 1) 2nd period coming to the conclusion that the wife in the story we read set it up so her husband and son would die so she could run off with her brother-in-law. I told them that sounded like the plot of a telenovela. 2) 3rd period coming to much the same conclusion independently. 3) Our morning announcements were AMAZING today--they promoted the lip sync while spoofing Stephen Colbert's dance to "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk. 4) One of my students took home Elie Wiesel's Night.
