Me too. Thanks man. I think some tests today will tell us what exactly is the problem/problems. .. I hope. Any more it's sit around and wait for them to do the tests and then wait days for an actual doctor to telk you what test show. I called ahead to explain to my mom's doctor I can only be here four days. I'm in the process of renewing my FM3 visa to live in Mexico and had to get a special permit just to leave the country. The temp visa is good UP to 90 days, I made the mistake of telling/showing the lady my travel itinerary and she made it out so it expires in five days. D'oh! Never even occurred to me to tell her I wanted the option to stay longer if I needed, form said "valid for up to 90 days" I figured that meant 90 days, should know better been in Mexico going on six years.

 

Just had to extend my rental car for another week.
Ugh.

 

This should be enjoyable for at least one person here.

In shocking news I heard the WSU Cougars actually won a football game against a decent/ranked/whatever team. I have full confidence they will manage to lose at least 4 out of the next 5 to balance that out.
Idaho Vandals apparently lost 42-10 which sounds right on track if not a notch too high for them. Not quite as good as them losing to Hawaii in the 68-3 range but still amusing.

am now embroiled in trying to cut down a chapter from mister book that talks about the essay i just translated. as a kind of advertisement aimed at the 5 people who might read the journal. effective strategy, yes?

o, it's about a french revolutionary marxist group from the 50s-60s who thought that what they called the revolutionary project could be re-oriented by a sociology of working-class experience specific to the time. so they decided it would be a good idea to collect autobiographies by workers. the essay is about how why this seemed a good idea and what might be done via the interpretation of this material...

P.S. Congrats on the middle-class-dom. My dryer broke and until I spring for a new one, I have to walk 20 steps to the communal laundry room. I feel so imposed-upon.
