    In related news, I'm exhausted, but I've still got two papers to write for my first day of school tomorrow. On the plus side, I have honey bourbon, so it's okay.
    Then, I think, a bath is in order.

    I'm really not sure what I'm going to do today at work. Everything is planned out. I'm actually working on stuff six weeks out from now. I don't like working that far ahead. Things change a lot. It's nice to have a good idea of the direction we're going in, but I'm hesitant to lay out my content that far in advance.

    this is where I wanted to post it.

    I don't care for psychology, but I like mental health nursing.
    Not sure what I mean by that, yet.
    I suppose it may mean that I wouldn't want to be a psychologist, but I am crazy enough to know how to communicate with and relate to people who are coping (or trying to cope) with mental challenges.
    Kind of looking forward to those clinical assignments. No 'nursing' - vital signs, procedures, anything like that - just being with a client. It should be interesting.

    What a day!

    The new executive director presented his reorganization plan to staff today, effective Oct. 1.

    Two program directors (my level), one senior lobbyist, a media relations associate and a research associate were asked to resign.

    The message is leaner and meaner; not sure how it affects me yet but I like where it is headed.

    Just got back from a little 80 mile ride with my BIL (he has a Softail Classic).

    Dropped off a couple "thank you" presents from Oregon to him and my sister for watching Stanley while we were gone and for him driving 45 mins each way over here to drop him back off so we didn't have to make that drive after our flight home. He got an Oregon Ducks shirt and a Latus Motors Harley Davidson shirt from their dealership just outside of Portland. He was thrilled. My sis got a hand-made scarf from Cannon Beach.
