    It's my Dads spare car. He bought it for Mum to run around town. She doesn't like how open it is. Too much wind in her hair.
    So I take it down the beach sometimes

    I agree. I've driven about 4 different Suzukis over the years.
    All of them were fun to drive. Zippy little cars

    So I'm not the only one confused...

    Will be sad to see this go. For a time, I worked across the road from it. It is such a feature of Toronto. I know things change, and change is not a bad thing per se, I just see this getting replaced with something that will be functional but soul-less.

    I've been into Honest Ed's once and don't plan on changing that, but the marquee is pretty iconic. I heard a rumour some developer wanted to stick a condo building there. I really hope that's not what happens.

    I am fine with a condo, but... it needs to be something special and it needs to meet the street properly.

    Too many condos in Toronto treat the street as an afterthought. It's inexcusable.

    A condo at Bathurst and Bloor would stick out worse than a black guy at a KKK rally. And we've already got enough ugly highrise buildings.

    There is already a big condo going in just south of the south east corner of Bloor and Bathurst (it's just across from Honest Ed's). It looks like a massive fail.

    I think there are ways to create intensified housing that can work with the given neighbourhood. And given that Bloor and Bathurst is a subway stop, it should be intensified to an extent. Better up than more sprawl in the GTA.

    To think, just over a month ago I was sitting there, right where G. is sitting. I can't believe it was only really a month ago, given all the stuff that's been packed into the interim. I want to go back to Toronto.
