Barcelona got dropped from the European trip I mentioned last week (or whenever.) Now it's Athens, Florence, and Rome, with the option to extend for two days in Pompeii and Capri.

...okay, now I really need to go.

 

Canadians are notorious for this kind of crap. Dividing the bill to the nth degree. Drives me nuts. I'd rather pay the whole bill than go through all the nickel and dime-ing. Gah!

As for taking the money back from the server? What the fuck?! I would have called her on that shit. Not acceptable.

I think I am (more than) a little bit in love with Neko Case.

 

Ugh. Last night, for the umpteenth time I said to myself I would go out to see the blasted things and didn't get around to it. >sigh<

 

I would have called her on it too but- GF's best friend. So I kept my mouth shut. I guess while I was in Oregon with my mom she spent 15mins arguing with a waitress at the Hard Rock Cafe over a .53 cent charge on a $125 check. Something about the type of souvenir glass she bought. Mind boggling.

I think she's now my GF's ex-best friend. That's the second time I've been to Orlando and had it cost someone close to me a good friendship. first time was years ago when my wife and I took our kid and her best friends family to DW. My ex's best friend thought we went to DW to babysit her four children so her and her husband could enjoy a child free vacation. They didn't speak for nearly ten yeas after that trip.

 

I hear you on the whole GF thing. I suppose you can take some solace in the idea that she might be the girlfriend's ex-best friend.

 

GF is her boss and I guess it's been tense at work. I don't see being asked to join them for dinner anytime soon. So there's that.
