last night was pork chops and steamed veggies.

I was asked to make "juicy turger burgers" tonight so that is apparently what we are having.

 

I think we're having stuffed red peppers tonight...brown rice and black bean & corn salsa, I believe is going to be the stuffing. I'm totally looking forward to it.

My daughter's homemade chicken noodle soup. That was nice to come home to.

 

My wife is not at home, and as I am profoundly lazy, a lovely bowl of frosted mini wheats & milk.

 

No idea. I am likely to go out but I am not sure what I want.

 

Last night I made spaghetti and garlic bread, with salad and zesty Italian dressing.

 

For the record, the stuffed peppers were AMAZING. Lordeden mixed a can of the Rotel diced tomatoes and habaneros in with the rice, and it was spicy as hell and totally awesome.

I think he's doing an eggplant and mushroom pasta bake tonight. With a gazillion pounds of cheese.

I love stuffed peppers, but use green, and lately I've used tomatoes, black beans, chicken and cheese, with some spices and such. Oh and rice of course. Usually brown rice. So yummy!

 

You'd love Eden's cooking, then. He's a southern boy who worked for a French chef. Butter, cheese, and cream, and lots of it. Delicious, and a bit maddening at the same time, since I'm trying to cut down on all of that

 

Here, I was set to ask how long you have been eating like I do. (whole food pant based) Now, never mind

 

Ha. I'd be eating more like that if my boyfriend didn't cook the way he does I've been vegetarian for about...six years now? Something like that. I was vegan for about three months of that.

The way I'm eating now is very similar to the "Vegan Before 6" plan. I was blending a green smoothie every morning before work, but I've fallen out of the habit. I need to get back to that.

 

Mellow Mushroom. Fuck yes. The Commies are pleased.

 

Oh man.... Yeah. My first celebrity "crush" was Julia Child. I'd absolutely be friendyfriendfriends with Eden.
