Pointless Announcements

I miss you too!

 

I am almost completely exhausted. I made the fun decision to cycle to Etobicoke to teach and that on top of the 2 nights worth of sleep for 4 nights... well I don't know if I'm even going to be able to stay awake much longer. All of this is to say I can't come see you tonight Snowy! That's my excuse and I think you deserve a good one my beautiful friend.

Why are secularists so unhappy and hostile about the fact that a religious institution such as the Roman Catholic Church doesn't embody secular norms?

I mean. What?

 

Being that secularists are people, quite a few of them are asinine by their very nature. Same as any other group. We all like our own brand and don't understand why other's don't also.

( By the way, secularism doesn't exclude a person also being religious. Secularism is removing religion from government. Necessary for freedom of religion. )

 

So much for sleeping in. Pfft.
But OMYGOD no school for almost four weeks!
Will spend most of the day dismantling the multiple study structures around the house, putting away all of my books, filing papers, boxing up my medical supplies - getting it all out of my sight.
Taking the boo in at four to have her haircut and her bangs died blue.
Then laundry, pre-packing...oh, and I need to have my oil changed...can't forget that...but I can do that tomorrow. Because I'm off tomorrow, too! OMYGOD!

 

the dining room has returned to being a room and not simply a container in which many boxes are heaped.
there is a large desk in the middle of the living room.
boxes and blankets and tables and chairs.
a blender and a beverage pedestal.
the kitchen is a maze of cookware.
downstairs is a giant pile of boxes.
there is a relatively simple path through them.

in the morning, i eat a just ripe cherry tomato from one of the plants and look at the marsh.
