Doc just called me into the back to show me dog sperm under the microscope. I love her.

 

She didn't have you collect it, though, did she?
That's pretty cool.

 

Did it look different than people sperm?

I wasn't going to google it because I'm at work....but I have my smart phone.

 

They have longer tails that move back and forth faster when they catch sight of the egg. Then they bury it when they're done.

Well, they looked similar to human sperm, i suppose. They are white translucent heads with flagella tails. The heads may be shaped slightly differently...it's hard to say. I've only seen the human ones on tv. Microscopically, of course.

I can't decide if this is complaining or awesome, so I'm throwing it here just in case.

While all my buddies are on planes, trains, and automobiles to Toronto, I'm just sitting in my apartment with a PowerBook G4 that I was gifted, that I hacked to boot off of a USB drive, installing Leopard.
Right now, I'm having the better time.
In less than 24 hours, I'll be in the basement while the party is happening on the roof.

One of my favorite things to laugh at is the look of sheer terror and horror on the face of a highly intelligent cat after he has gotten inadvertently locked in the bedroom and spent over an hour cowering under the bed during sexy time.

We got a no pull harness for our younger that is the same way - extremely high prey drive who is after EVERYTHING. It is a night and day difference - the leash clip is at the front of their chest, so any pull actually circles them back to you.

 

We always used a Halti with our dog. Worked very well. If he ever tried to lunge it pulls his head to the side and momentum is lost. (note: it's not a muzzle, he could still use his mouth).

but I don't feel like telling sad stories.
three days of intense studying, final monday, work again thursday and then the little melonhead and I head out on an epic adventure through the southland.
in other words, roadtrip.
