Just had last clinical day dinner with my clinical group. A little happy, a little sad. We were a good fitting group. I did almost as much laughing as i did nursing. Moving on.

WTF is a snake plissken?

Snake Plissken is gritty, eye-patch'd former Special Forces rogue played by Kurt Russell in John Carpenter's Escape from... universe. New York ('81) and then Los Angeles ('96). He gets conned by The Evil Government to do rescue missions.

Amount of fucks he gives? Near zero.

He is also the basis for the Solid Snake character in the wildly popular Metal Gear video game series. Blatant ripoff, really.

Sex was the stuff of legends last night. Best part: Finished the second round, rolled over and noticed the sky through the blinds:

I really need to get back to editing my posts for typos before hitting submit. It's getting rediculous.

Trying (unsuccessfully) to concentrate on the minutiae of pharmaceutical diuretics and for some reason the movie Breaking Away just popped into my head.
I haven't seen it since it was in the theaters - 1979. I went to see it several times. I would have been 14 years old...no wait, 13. I had a major crush on Dennis Christopher that summer...
It must have popped up because I am craving french fries.

Damn you mixedmedia. I'm in the middle of an hour of cardio and now I have a craving for French fries.

 

Oh, man. It's contagious. I would kills for some pub chips with malt vinegar.

 

I love Breaking Away and American Flyers. Both have great bicycle themes.

 

I experienced "Whataburger" for the first time... If one of you could go ahead and open a franchise in the Bellevue/Kirkland area in Washington... That'd be great.
