Astrology anyone?

Is anyone here into astrology at all?

I'm expecting some people to be fans, others to be haters but that's what I've always found.

I am a huge fan, I have never dated a guy without doing his chart first. Then when his true personality comes out and the little quirks that don't mesh with my personality are shown I always tell him "this is becuase your moon is in Pisces and my moon is in Leo" of course most of the time this caused he argument to escalates but at least I'm the one who is on top - I knew this was coming and I know better how to deal with it. Zodiac-Signs-Online.com is a good site with astrology descriptions. Tell me, is this accurate for you?

I'm not hardcore into astrology. I'm cool with it and people who are hardcore into it. I do know I'm a pisces, and pretty much every line of that site you cite accurately describes me. And I've always known I'd be up a creek without an aries for a mate.

I enjoy the flavor and the symbolism.
When it's generalities...overall personality descriptions are fun to read.

But when it's specifics, I don't like it.
Obviously not accurate...and I've never seen the direct impact.
But the statement I read earlier is in the back of my mind is "itching" my decision making for the day.
I don't need inconsequential things messing with my calls.

    Sagittarius here.

I grew up reading into all manner of mysticisms: mythical creatures, divination, numerology....yadda yadda. (Truth be told I read all kinds of stuff but I went through an 'occult' phase as most of us probably have.)

I find astrology to make claims non-specific enough to be easily verified by confirmation bias.

i like talking about related personality traits at a bar or a party, but i'm not sold at all on any daily outlook stuff. my friend does daily general chart work and has a facebook page if you're interested...

I was interested in Astrology for awhile when I was younger. Found it interesting for awhile. Once I started delving deeper into it and started learning about planets in retrograde and Jupiter in Aries is off setting the effects of Mars in your rising sign and all that other stuff, I lost interest.

I always wanted to have my chart done to see how accurate it was. I don't believe in horoscopes, but personality profiles are interesting. With the exception of one thing, I'm pretty much a straight up Cancer

I enjoy how the astrological symbol system links with other systems, and how connecting these with the everyday, opens the gate to extended and organized right-brain exploration.

My research position will be more along the lines of 'his Moon's in Pisces ... hmmmm interesting ... maybe' rather than 'it's because'.

Yea, the moon and rising sign had alot of impact with everything. If a person does not believe in astrology, chances are their moon or rising is in a conflicting sign, example: sun Pisces rising Gemini will make them much more optimistic and social which goes against the Pisces personality description.

Man, my fate sucks at the moment...can anyone move around some moons for me??

Not going to ask to move the stars...too hot.
How about a planet? Uranus is not too big. :p

i believe Eastern Astrology is more accurate than Western but natal charts even more accurate. of my natal chart, there is only one point i disagree with and that's only very likely because of my permanent head injuries

however, similiar to Baraka_Guru, my preference is astronomy when discussing the planets beyond our reach

MSD & Baraka eastern astrology is animal signs intertwined with the fire, wood, metal, water and earth elements, which correspond to the last digit of the year you were born

    i'm an earth monkey ;)

I like Astrology, but I realize it's a game not Science. Runes are fun, too and travel well. Each to his or her own. They both make interesting subjects of conversation. Esp. if you are an artist and use those symbols in your work.
