No chance you could buy it for yourself (or inherit it)? It's always sad to see family treasures like this part ways with the family. My friend is losing his family cottage for the same reasons.

We both grew up 45-60 minutes north of the Ohio River. Spent a lot of time in Cincinnati and Covington.

Not anymore since she moved south and I moved west.

 

You guys did the right thing I am sure. It sucks ass around here.

 

You're probably right. It's home, though, and I miss it sometimes. Coming around the Cut in the Hill on north 75 is still one of my favorite things in the world.

Ha! Touché, pussycat. I do NOT miss Cincinnati traffic. I usually come through later in the evening, so I get the spectacular view without the bumper-to-bumper.

One of life's many mysteries. Why are there plastic shot glasses in the restroom at the restraint I ate at tonight?

 

Was there a bottle of mouthwash anywhere? Or maybe they're there for people to rinse their mouths with water from the tap.
