    One of my buddies who was over last night for our cookout had a 9yr old little boy. He and Stanley played and played the entire time he was here, save for a 30 min break for him to eat. For almost 5 straight hours they played tug-of-war, soccer, and just generally followed each other around. He kept saying he wanted to have Stanley over to his house for a sleep over.

    It's 9am and Stanley still hasn't budged from his bed after 11 hours. :p

    I hit level 3 on Pomodroido this morning. One of my goals this summer is to complete 6 pomodoros per weekday for a total of 30 pomodoros Monday-Friday. Half that seems reasonable for weekends, particularly Sunday, when I have a lot of homework due. My hope is that by doing 6 a day during the week I won't need to schedule any for the weekend.

    Local rock station just announced the lineup for it's big End Of Summer Music Festival. I am not enthusiastic about ANY of the bands. Really wish I'd been able to go last year...the lineup included Garbage, Eve 6, Flogging Molly, and the Offspring. Le sigh.

    Rode my bike to work 'for real' today. 5.7 miles each way. Felt good. My quads are more sore than they were last time, but I'm attributing that to the fact that I was carrying a backpack this time.
