    That gave me an amused chuckle. I correctly guessed before looking online just now that the second date was when he was struck by a hit and run driver. Living in a parallel universe where he was actually killed that day would suck.

    Thanks for noticing that, Speed Gibson. In The Dark Tower series, there is a plot line in a parallel world that deals with the repercussions of his death on June 19 from that accident. A Dark Tower Junkie like myself always considers that Stephen King is already dead in another universe.
