Also: I totally want to go off on a friend of mine that posted some saccharine "the world is awful now and no one cares" poem with the comment, "not even prayer can help anymore." Well, no, prayer is NOT going to help, because you're doing fuck-all to actually CHANGE anything, and frankly, you're kind of contributing to the problem anyway, teaching your kids that "thug life" shit is cool, and being a smartass at four years old is hilarious.
