    I have not swung a golf club yet this year.

    All the good weather (somewhat limited this spring compared to usual) I've used for yard work or Harley riding.

    Tuesday I'm supposed to golf in an outing for work to raise money for a cancer research hospital. One of my customers sets up the fundraiser and I've attended for maybe 7-8 straight years. It raises a lot of money (entry is $10k for three golfers, the company setting up the event puts an exec type from their company in each group) for a really good cause. Though the entry fee doesn't come out of my pocket (my company foots my cost of entry) I do shell out a few hundred bucks of my own each year at this event on various games and contests they run to raise additional funds.


    Take a second to check out City of Hope. They do great work there. Golfing and fighting cancer? Uncle Phil would be proud.

    My husband is out of town for the week on a camping trip with his Scout troop. The dogs know something is up, because as soon as we came upstairs they both jumped on the bed. They never jump on the bed. I'm not complaining :D

    Apparently, I put on my cranky pants this morning instead of my smarty pants.
    But thanks not the guy at Mellow Mushroom who answered the phone early to confirm that they have my debit card.
    Idiot bartender never gave me back my card after we ordered a beer prior to dinner.
    So that was at least a happy thing for today... that at least I know where it is.
    I still want to slap people, though.

    Apparently I was part of a class action lawsuit I didn't know about.

    American Express sent me a check for $8.23 as my settlement.
