Decided to download Seamonkey to have a look at it. I used Mozilla many moons ago, and am curious how this compares or if I even care about the all in one suite now.

Just arrived at the hospital. Will be doing my 1st injection on a patient, a real human. My patient is 94 and is exp. Pulmonary edema. Don't have to do much paperwork today so i can spend the day helping him feel as comfortable as possible. Slept well, feel good. Let's do this.

So... we had a house guest come over to stay the night. At bedtime my current girlfriend sucked me hard, crawled on top of me, quietly rode herself to two orgasms and then promptly fell asleep with one of her legs draped over me.

Ninja sex. I got used like a Sybian.

 

Well crap, I have to mow before it rains. Been watching LeMans (24 hour race) since it started at 8. Will watch it throughout the day. Nice day to just lie around the house.

 

So, my patient was moved to another unit. Boo.

But...

My new patient had a bone biopsy this morning and the surgeon let me watch. Shazam!

 

Damn, ten minutes into the race on the third lap Allan Simonsen racing in an Aston Martin crashed hard. Speed TV announced a little while ago that he died from his injuries which seldom happens in sports car racing. sigh

This is far from pointless. Damn this sport anyway

 

Packing to leave for Ontario for 6 weeks--leaving in the morning--woo-hoo!

If I had a working time machine I would use it to watch live performances of Benny, Glenn Miller, and Monk just for a start.

 

It's not even 7am and I am already regretful of having to study. Exam tomorrow on diabetes, genitourinary disorders and surgical clients.

I know it's important, I don't have to be reminded. Yesterday I prepared a patient for surgery and then went down with him, helped with pre-op, watched while he was anesthetized and had pieces of bone taken from his foot for biopsy, then went with him into PACU and back up to his room. That, I loved. Sometimes I wish it was like the old days when nurses were trained exclusively in the hospital. I think I could become just as good a nurse if I were to apprentice for five years in the hospital. I'm tired of books.

Finally passed the Cisco CCENT (837/1000) after my third attempt. It was a difficult certification and learned a lot about subnetting. Onwards to the CCNA.
