World naked bike ride

Last weekend was the world naked bike ride. I did not participate. However, I believe I will next year. To that end, one of my bike friends will re/build me a bike and I will ride like holy terror through the city all year, to/fro work, organized rides, and so forth, to culminate in riding assfree naked enmasse in public in the weather. I can hardly wait to purge the last 5 yrs and ride the fucking urban wind!

I think this is a good idea for all of us.
Just sayin.

Something tells me that riding my bike naked to campus in downtown Detroit might not be the smartest thing I could do.

Oh the thoughts I just had....

 

It is a bicycle event. It was in Columbus on Saturday night. I think it would be interesting to go to it, but it is pretty far away from me, and the whole point of it is to get away from using cars and riding bikes is better.

 

A call to all bicyclist enthusiasts, naked next year or not!

I did go a few years back and it was fun. The only problem I had and it enough pain that I have decided not to go on more of them, but I do support the idea of it. The problem is the seat, it tears up the butt and I have made it better but the only way I can ride is with some kind of pants that has padding, like bicycle shorts or work pants. That why I can not go any more.

 

Not going to happen in Singapore. Getting naked in public gets you arrested.

We just had our big solstice parade/food & product booths/naked bike ride and this was the first year I attended as a spectator - or in any capacity, actually. I didn't get to see much of the cyclist, but the parade was very cool (we walked right through the staging area end to end about 5 minutes before they started.)

Anyway - everyone was really cool and since we've largely decriminalized marijuana, it was very... aromatic... around most of the areas where folks were seated.

 

Threadjack: Caning in Singapore is kinda awesome.

 

Maaayybe not while you're equipped for a naked bike ride...

 

While I am sure there any number of gentlemen looking for a good caning, I am told there is *nothing* erotic about the canning the Singapore government dishes out.

It's less Madam Rattan and whole lot more, Captain Bligh.

 

That's what I'm talking about, though. I totally wanna see mofos moderately brutalized in public as a punishment for their petty crimes. It's cheap and easy and may actually stop people from doing dumb shit in the future.

Even if it doesn't, it's still a helluva lot better than straight caging and carbing.
