You can be there to hold my hand while I drink this garbage.

Has anyone mentioned Coors Light Iced Tea?

I can't quite wrap my head around the idea. Also this promo curdles my stomache.

This assumes that I have an unwarranted sense of importance or I'm trying to impress people.

    No.

    I just have good taste.

Don't hate me because I'm refined.

    I saw a commercial for something called a Straw-ber-ita from Bud-lite Lime.

Tagline is, "Enjoy a Cold Straw-Ber-Rita® Today!"

Unless it's ice cold, it tastes and smells distinctly phenolic, not at all unlike Aircraft Remover and other industrial grade paint strippers.

Apparently, the "new" Rainier is better than the "old" Rainier. My dad can wax for quite a while about the "differences" between Rainier and Olympia. I liked Rainier fine on tap at the local watering hole. Hamm's is okay too.

Apparently, Oly used to be the beer of choice, followed by Rainier, but if they were feeling really fancy, they would splash out for Henry Weinhard's (Private Reserve is NOT a bad beer).

You did forget the crocodile that are supposed to wrestle before you eat it. I've had kangaroo - quite tasty (though we are now wandering a little off topic)

I used to like all three in the days of my youth. Then Hamm's was bought out by Miller some years back and it's now their lowest priced beer last I read. Not sure what happened over the years to Rainer and Oly. I think they once were brewed in the same place in Tumwater, not sure about that. I know in the mid 80's both left the shelves for a while, a guy I worked with mourned the loss of his Rainer. He had a serious Rainer habit. His boat was named "The Three "R's" which stood for rest, relaxation and Rainer. Rainer and Oly both came back several times after buy outs by other larger brands but the taste wasn't the same to me.

Weinhard and then Blitz-Weinhard totally different level of beer in my opinion. They have long been Portland standards but unfortunately they too have been bought and sold several times and I have no idea who owns it now. I remember it being owned buy Strohs at one point and I'm certain that's the last Herny's I drank. Though I do like their "orange cream" soda.

BTW- Rainer maybe worth a try. I read a news story sometime around 2003-2004 where a bear broke in a campers cooler and drank all the Rainer and never even tried open any of the cans of Busch in the cooler.
