Please work, I don't want to have to buy a computer for work. Spending money like that makes my eye twitch.

Perhaps the Balbo style now refers to the street in Chicago, which is named after the aforementioned Fascist but does provide plausible deniability. It runs through the center of Grant Park and could be called a gathering area of bearded men. Not that kind of bearded man, though. They congregate a little farther north.

I am funny sometimes. Other times, not so much.

Doing my estimated tax payments has made me slightly bonkers.

I am rarely funny. I am proof of the "stopped clock" theory of comedy - whenever I say something humorous, it's only because of some independent third party influence.

 

And mine keeps turning it to "Borla". But that would mean that the Guru just got a swelled head.

 

Being good to myself today. Leaving lab early today no matter what. Need naptime.

 

My BF made me breakfast this morning. He's not so bad. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms and potatoes. We ate while watching something about Nintendo. Apparently it's a big deal, but all I gathered was that Mario is going to be a kitty, so I said I'd play that game.

 

Between the floor and the couch, Stanley has a large area to practice his camouflage techniques on.

I made him let me watch it over and over until he was annoyed.

 

I was reading about this Tim Horton and that was more interesting than I thought it might be.
Especially how he died - "He died in an automobile crash while being chased by police in St. Catharines, Ontario, in 1974 at the age of 44. " That article also said he was over twice the legal limit on alcohol and traveling at 100 MPH.
His family taking a $1 million payoff that same year for Tim's portion of the chain he co-founded sounds like a serious rip-off.
Is playing major league hockey at 44 very common? I know that is ancient in NBA and NFL terms.

 

Working on my day off tomorrow. The extra money will be appreciated.

 

I'm too sleepy to think about work right now

 

My laptop makes a repetitive jangly sound when the battery is dying. I was not aware of that until today, and I've had the laptop for almost two years.



Edit-- I don't mean the "battery is low" notification. I knew it did THAT.
