1. We've had very few donations over the year. I'm going to be short soon as some personal things are keeping me from putting up the money. If you have something small to contribute it's greatly appreciated. Please put your screen name as well so that I can give you credit. Click here: Donations

When I go short, I like to shave (or almost as short) it in back, and leave it a little longer in the front.

    Maybe like this...

Wow, Speedy! Thanks! I'm actually quite glad you chose one with a lighter color, I was curious how that might look.

I can make that any colour you like from platinum blonde to punk rock green/pink. What is in that picture is exactly what Michelle Williams has in the source. I was thinking you might like to see a different look along with the short hair.

Yeah! The other day my husband and I were discussing my options for covering my gray hair, and lighter highlights came up. I look at that picture and I think it's a little much. I have grown to love my random strands of gray, not sure if I want to part with it. It's one of those things no one notices except on rare occasions, and then it usually results in a compliment. Silver-blue hair would be rad, like this one. http://www.hairfinder.com/hairstyles2/short-hairstyles-34g.jpg

My middle schoolers asked if I'd dyed a gray streak in my hair on purpose. I said no. They promptly assured me that my hair looked great. It was sweet.

Most of the time mine look like highlights, so I don't really worry about it, although I do have that streak now and I like it. It's only noticeable if I part my hair certain ways.

Personally, I think your hairstyle looks better on you than on this short woman.

Good job but I would have gone with Ginnifer. The lighter color doesn't really suit genuinegirly.

Don't mean to threadjack, but YES! I tell everyone now to give it a try. Most people don't agree with me, and are in fact traumatized by it, but losing one's hair during chemo was a great change for me. The only good thing to come out of it really. Truly no feeling like it in the world! Now my hair is growing back, definitely looks weird now, shorter than a pixie cut, but I can't wait for it to get a little longer to style my hair like michelle or ginnifer. :)

You're a pretty new Mom. Much love to all of you!

  10. Have you considered dressing your hair? Also - many years ago, one of my friends had her hair cut - and a hairpiece made of what they took off which she still uses about 40 years later.
Baby looks gorgeous. If you think your hair cut decision is hard - just you wait till its baby curls being cut off.

chinese crested: Dressing? Is that like styling? I'm not sure what you mean.

  12. Pins and suchlike. If you want it out of the way of baby vomit and the like, put it up.

  13. I like what you currently have going on. However I know that having a little one leaves little time to spend on hair, additionally with all the hair that falls post partum the shorter it is the less clumps you'll have to pick out from the drain (sorry for the visual).
I like both haircuts that Ginnifer and Michelle and they would probably suit you based on the shape of your face.
This would also work for you (the haircut) ;) SB.jpg .

Good luck deciding on what will be your new hairstyle. Please upload the after shot :)

A simpler take from my first picture showing genuinegirly 's hair just substantially trimmed.

  15. This is what I thought of when you said "dressing."

But found this and want to do that....

  16. Either of those would keep the vomit out. I can get mine up and reasonably presentable in under a minute with a couple of clips and a comb thing. The knots dont show - which is the main thing. At night either my hair has parties, or small animals move into it and start building nests when I am sleeping .

Hmmm. Yes. I always have my hair up and out of the way these days, which gives me a neck ache because I tend to fall asleep with my hair in a bun and my neck at a skewed angle.

My sister recommends that I just tough it out with longish hair so I don't have to go through the transition back to long hair. I like her logic but at the same time, my neck hurts.

  18. I have a hair thingy that is like two hair combs - I have a couple - work the way as shown below although they are different. Takes a second to take out.

That is about the shortest I would go. I think this is a good style for you.

I just don't think that many girls can pull off the really short hair. Natalie can pull off any hairstyle though.
