My bicycle is just about ready to go. Inner tube replaced, chain and cassette lubed up, brakes adjusted, everything coated with a fresh batch of oil and grease.
Took her for a quick 4-mile-round zip to my old place and back for a movie night, everything seems to be functioning correctly enough (except my body; man I'm out of shape). All that needs doing now is the derailleur is still out of alignment; my top gear doesn't quite sit right.
And she needs a name.

No sleeping in with these dogs.. but a mile walk under our belt, at the coffee shop to finish some work I had to do after leaving work early yesterday to go to a Pro Softball game. 14-0 Chicago Bandits.. I feel sorry for the other team.

 

Dreary dragging morning at work. I would much rather be hunting down GeneticShift and DamnitAll to see what mischief we could get into.

 

Beautiful Sat morning. About to be ruined by way too much to do today.

Heading out to do an hour of cardio, then hours of yard work, then a high school graduation open house, then the Blackhawks on TV.

At least I'll be outside for several hours. But damn, I have a lot of yard work to do.

 

i am vaguely considering options. among these is the continued vague consideration of options. another involves going to a museum to look at the spaces where stolen paintings once hung. note the similarity.
