Getting a loan to build a home...

    I might add in a porch or a sun room/deck onto this, but it is an interesting layout. I think a 2 bedroom 1 bath might work out better space wise though too

    The neat thing is that it goes up really fast. You might need to add the interior walls, electrical, insulation, and flooring, but it shouldn't take very long.

    NYC has rough certification of occupancy laws... but just about everyone allows for shipping containers to be used for dwellings because they are structurally sound.

    $300,000? Are they made of gold? Hopefully they included the $240,000 land price in that.

    And it isn't like they are that hard to transport. I don't understand why they said it wasn't easy making the interior.

    Construction and land. Labor is expensive here. Everyone required is usually union in order to follow code.

    Not to mention the fact that cost of insurance runs roughly 7 times as high as any surrounding state.
