The part I don't get is she has several boxes with each season and both movies in the cabinet under the TV. Why try to watch it on a channel with commercial interruptions when she could simply pop in a DVD and watch whatever season or movie she wants?

My kid does the same thing but with "Friends." Owns every season and her husband tells me the PVR is full of "Friends." I guess in their house it's a common debate whether to delete her "Friends" or cancel his upcoming recordings. Seems silly to me but not my problem.

 

I love that little moment of joy when I realize I haven't read my daily webcomics yet.

You already have your time machine? I placed a pre-order for mine a good 20 years ago and am still waiting for it to ship. At least my flying car will be ready in the next two years. Unfortunately the government will find a way to make garbage cost $8.00/pound as soon Mr Fusion is released commercially.

Facebook gives me this ad "Save 15% at Cafepress.com" on a shirt that I made myself and uploaded. That was amusing.

 

Just finished listening to the 10/6/38 broadcast of The Shadow and of course they had to do a teaser for for the episode next week.
Fortunately I had the 11/13 broadcast as well. The first voice I hear in the opening act is Allen Reed playing a heavy as he often did. Most people know him these days as the original Fred Flinstone.

 

Probably similar to how I do.
