    Well, gained back 10 pounds ( again ). I'm having trouble with my knees not letting me work out. Going to the ortho Monday to see if I can get them fixed up enough to allow me to at least ride a bike and/or walk on a treadmill without them swelling and bitching at me constantly.

    I'm also taking a week off of food logging, and plan on trying again. This time I'm going to measure more closely... Estimating isn't working any more.

    Tonight, I'm going to my first conditioning kickboxing class since the end of November. I'm currently attending three Muay Thai classes a week, so this fourth I'm adding for pure conditioning reasons. The Muay Thai class is a good workout, and I learn a lot of really cool stuff and develop some awesome skills, but it doesn't compare to the conditioning class in terms of spending a full hour repeatedly hitting your limit anaerobically.

    I figure I should do that at least once a week.

    So, I gained back more that 10 pounds, but my bench has shot through the roof. 315 went up and easy 5 today. I think I could have squeezed out seven with a spotter. I don't know what having a belly has to do with benching, but it seems to help...

    Still going to start dieting again. MRI for the knee soon, then surgery. Maybe then I can join a proper gym again and start squatting. Leg presses and leg machines aren't doing the job for me. ( but my quads are about an inch bigger around, maybe that's where some of that weight is. )

    When I recover from my knee surgery I'm going to go back to powerlifting. Anything else just seems like going through the motions. This body building stuff I'm doing now is just boring. I see no point in perfectly crafted musculature. I like power.

    I'm actually quite the shoulders/back fetishist. The position of this cyclist isn't conducive to properly demonstrating her shoulders. I imagine if I saw her upright, shoulders back, and from behind (;)), I would rather lick her somewhere else.
