    Highly underrated IMO. Sky Blue and Back is one of his better songs that never gets recognized.

    The perils of releasing an amazing CD a few years after being at the top.

    OMG, another song that popped into my head spontaneously from my past.

    It's a song that I knew was among the New Wave movement in the '80s by the sound of it. It made me think of Duran Duran et al, but I wasn't sure if it was Duran Duran (it wasn't).

    I haven't heard it in years, and the only thing I could only remember of the lyrics was the "woah, woah" part of the chorus. I couldn't for the life of me remember anything but the gorgeous soprano/falsetto vocal melody to the words in the chorus:

    And I could barely remember the melody of the verses, let alone the words.

    Anyway, after a few silly Google searches involving keywords such as "woah woah" and "woah woah oh oh" and "Duran Duran" and "80s" and "sounds like Duran Duran," I finally found it.

    It's Howard Jones's "Things Can Get Only Better."

    I would never have guessed that. It's a song I heard countless times on the radio back in the day, but I don't recall ever knowing who Howard Jones is.

    Anyway, enjoy! It will continue to be in my head for a few days yet!
