    What solenoid was it??

It turned out to not be the solenoid but the gear position sensor. It's all fixed now and driving like a dream once more. If it weren't for the way this car handles, I'd consider ditching it for a newer Honda.

And man, studying for econ makes me realize how many faulty domain assumptions get made about economic models in certain threads on this board.

The stand-up machines work well, but the little portable ones are miserable failures. My PCP requires a manual check when anything looks significant. I don't trust battery-operated machinery. Take that how you will, TFPDOMs.

If your stress level is too high, you need to take all the measures you can to correct it. Not only for your heart but for your kidneys. Imagine your kidneys, this excruciatingly complex network of capillaries that rely on a stable bp to adequately filter waste from your system...and to PEE. Dialysis sucks, man. It's not something you want to wait around hemming and hawing on. Maybe down here in the south docs are used to letting this shit go. You shouldn't be letting them get away with it. This about you and your family. It's serious shit.

I've worked with people in their 80s and 90s with CHF and hypertension who have more stable bp. I just don't see any excuse for it.

Dating rituals are fun to watch, particularly among my age set, I just don't want any part of them.

  12. ralphie250 can you talk with someone about managing stress? Your doctor perhaps? It might be as simple as talking a long walk each evening. Like for an hour. Doesn't have to be strenuous. Maybe your family would join you. Just go out and enjoy it.

Melatonin trial day 2. Haven't hallucinated yet.
I was kinda hoping that Jason Statham would stop by
in a bit and fight to protect my honor wearing only tuxedo pants
and bare feet in a puddle of motor oil with nothing but bike pedals
    to save us both...

  17. Couple of things:

    1. I love my new job.
    2. Sold my bed on Sunday, have been sleeping on the floor. Air mattress arrived today, I blew it up, laid on it, and didn't get up for another 4 hours. I are must be more tired than I think I are.
    3. There is now a Tamagotchi app for Android. I'm currently re-living the second grade.
