Someone had to lead the minions in the Chicago area. The more often your name is mentioned with neck stabbings the more she likes you. At least that is what I heard.

 

Just listening to Lordeden 's side of this phone conversation is making me facepalm so much.

Know why I hate those tiny portable blood pressure machines? Because one just read my BP as 134/70. I may have a wicked headache and stomach ache, but I've never been that high in my life. Not even with a broken pelvis. She wouldn't retake it either. New doctor offices suck. Starting over is a pain in the butt. But(t) here I am, following Dr orders knowing they're not going to find anything either.

Good thing they still teach nurses to take BP manually... Kinda freaky that around here, many don't remember how. They've gotten placid in their old people neighborhoods.

Last semester we were told by adjunct professors (who still work as nurses) that the last time we will have to take a manual BP is at our check-offs (which was last semester). And I have to admit, since then I have not so much as even seen a manual BP cuff.

 

Oh, your email would be well-received too, but this one is special.
