    Nice lazy Sunday morning, soft rain, birds chirping, quiet house. I'm just sitting here kind of doing nothing, haven't even started coffee yet but soon will. I like easing into the day at times.

    I think the little boy across the street (maybe 4yrs old?) believes I am The Incredible Hulk. He was out playing in his front yard with his dad and siblings when the following occurred:

    We had a large bush in our front landscaping that died last spring. My wife complained about it several times since then that she wanted it ripped out because it was dead. I finally promised her last fall that come spring I would rip it out. She is out running errands and I was mowing the grass and decided to see just how strong the dead roots were.

    I pushed hard one way and felt a snap underground. I pushed again and there was a lot of give. So I pulled the other way (very hard) and felt another pop. So I heaved as hard as I could, heard a little boy's incredulous voice say "Daddy, what is he doing?!?", and yanked it right out of the ground.

    For reference, I am 5'11" and that bush was at least 14-18" over my head. It took about 45 seconds at most to rip it from the ground with my bare hands. *flex*
