Pointless Announcements

"good baseball" not sure I can define it, however I'm sure it takes more than just a few games to reach that definition. I do know that the Cubs aren't a good team again this year. But I still watch. It's a terrible habit.

 

I still follow the Trailblazers and watch their games when I can, so I definitely understand that. I remember the team 20+ years ago when they were a legitimate threat to win the title and that makes the recent teams more painful to watch.

 

It says 34 for me. Not sure if that's good or not.
On the social intelligence, "Your score on this test was 32 out of 36."

 

Its OK. I know that the braves will win the division and choke in the first round playoffs like normal. But I still watch. One can hope

 

My daughter is taking the train down from NYC today for a dress up date with me tonight to attend the annual fundraising gala for Levine School of Music community music program. The Levine School was a wonderful support mechanism for her when my wife passed away and we both love this annual date to express our thanks.

 

then something happened to the smallness of the small martini inside the silver alchemical shaking device that transforms a glass of gin into a fabulous beverage. perhaps it was kidnapped.

 

Health assessment exam today.
Paper on nursing ethics due tonight (almost done with it).
Comprehensive final in fundamentals on Monday.
Last pharmacology exam followed by last med admin competency test on Tuesday.

Then first semester of nursing school is done. I will celebrate first w. my children.
Then w. roller coaster man and plenty of booze and debauchery.
Happy.

 

I didn't even watch the game last night, to be honest. Spent the evening reading.

Yawn. I need coffee.

 

Done studying for this exam. And I still have plenty of time for a leisurely walk with the dog and to take an extra long shower and shave my legs...I may even paint my toenails.

 

This morning, one of our cats knocked a full-size stapler onto the floor and tried to play with it. I'm sitting on the couch trying to study while watching this and am all like 'what the fuck are you doing?' Dumb cat.

 

Pens are big. Can't leave those lying around. Or barrettes or nametags or batteries.
Nor can I leave a glass of water around without the fear of flash flooding of valuables and electronic devices.

 

It's Birthday Eve!

 

I left the house this morning without putting deoderant on.

I used the SO's deodorant and I smell like Old Spice.

I woke up to my broken water bottle on the kitchen floor, a huge glob of painter's tape stuck to the oven (they pulled it off the Scat Mat, don't ask how it got on the oven door), the top of the six pack of Cigar City Hotter then Hells Lager in the living room, and three folders under the kitchen table. Cats.
