Netflix Instant Viewing Suggestions

I'm man enough to proudly admit that I still loves me some cartoons, and all sorts of Cartoon Network stuff just landed. My boys and I have been watching Ed Edd & Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, and we're going to start into Chowder before too long.

I'm raising my boys right.

 

I never liked Chowder, but I think you're missing out on Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Johnny Bravo there...

 

When you're done with all those, get into Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends if you haven't already. So good.

 

I would love to have him as an imaginary friend. He's adorable.

 

I am ashamed. Johnny Bravo and Foster's are two of my faves! How could I have omitted them?!? For crying out loud, my eldest even had a onesie when he was 1 with a picture of Eduardo saying "I no scaredy-baby!".

 

I almost forgot Eduardo, lol

 

I am watching Heroes now. These first few episodes are good and you can feel the storyline building from the start. Hopefully it stays on a good track and does not get lost on some silly tangent.
All I know about future episodes is that Capt. Sulu makes appearance at some point in a limo with the a license plate that is a nod to Star Trek. It had "NCC 1701" if I remember that one article I read online correctly a while back.

 

I"ve been watching the Andy Griffith show and Magnum P.I. lately. And One For The Money at least twice a week. I'll either tire of it soon or re-read the series.

 

I've been watching Lexx the series, more for nostalgia than it ever being a good show...

 

Started that one,never got past the first two episodes. Still in my que and I might get back to it one of these days. It took me at least 18 months to get to episode 3 of Heroes recently after watching the pilot originally.

 

House of Cards is awesome. I can't remember if I posted in here already and just forgot. But, I'm too lazy to go look for it and it was awesome enough to mention more than once.

 

Me and my daughter are watching Hemlock Grove, a Netflix original series. It's pretty good so far. Well acted, but a little slow paced. So far there are werewolves and something like a vampire... yeah one of those shows

 

Currently watching Total Drama Island with the boys. Canadian cartoons are awesome.
Also watching Metalocalypse. NOT with the boys. Yeah. That would not go well, if they saw that.....

I've heard pretty good things about Hemlock Grove from a couple of friends. I may give it a go when I have the time.

I've been marathoning all the other seasons too. So excited for the new season.

 

What season are you on and what do you think so far? I loved this show and am so glad Fox allowed them to wrap it up instead of cancelling it outright a la Firefly.

 

Currently on season 2, but been taking a slow approach to it since I am re-watching Arrested Development and Veronica Mars.

 

I didn't realize Veronica Mars was on! Think I'll have to add it to my queue. As to Fringe....well, you'll get to the end eventually. Not since Scrubs have I allowed myself to cry at a series finale. Consistently cool throughout the series.
