    My dad emailed me this morning saying, "Oh, we'll be out of touch for the next couple days since we're leaving (the small town where my Dutch cousins live) for the airport hotel. We'll call when we're home." I know the truth. My mom emailed me their plans yesterday. My cousin who lives in Amsterdam is picking them up and taking them to his football club for the day to watch the matches and get drunk.

    Just got back from my parents.
    We either have a bobcat or a coyote poking around our pond on *the farm. The coyote would be expected, the bobcat not so much. We were looking up tracks trying to figure out which, but still can't figure it out.
    *The farm is not a real farm. It's a place that my dad built himself a little cabin and there's room to ride fourwheelers, go fishing, cook outside, and attract wildlife.
    Oh - they also might have a pregnant ground squirrel living in their front yard.
