    Boorama has a friend sleeping over tonight. Mom just dropped her off and gave me a talk about kids being obedient and listening to adults. She is from Peru, the mom - a really sweet, adorable little thing who struggles with the language. I was just like, 'yeah, yeah, give me another hug little lady and be gone.' I don't think I ever once used the word 'obedient' with my kids. I never had to.

    I'm not a big college basketball fan. But my dad's best friend (and the father of two of my close friends) went there, and he's a MASSIVE sports fan. So I've been rooting for them 1) for him and 2) for the underdog factor.
